About Us

Our Business

Armada Materials supplies aggregates, asphalt, and other essential construction materials. We focus on key regions where we expect local demand to outpace supply for critical infrastructure materials and services. Armada acquires and invests in private companies in these strategic locations. We work with our acquisitions to help them achieve their future goals and reach their full potential.

Our vision is to establish Armada Materials as the leading provider of high-demand construction materials and services in strategic locations across the United States.

The company was formed in 2022 by Rob Duke, an industry veteran with a track record of successfully leading and growing construction material and service businesses over a 20-year career with CRH and Rinker Materials.

Our Values

Armada Materials was founded on the principle of partnership with locally run companies. As a result of this focus, Armada shares main common traits with the businesses we acquire including these four core values:

Acquirer of Choice

Armada Materials is the acquirer of choice for private owners considering a possible sale of their business.  Based in Tampa, Florida, Armada is a privately held company led by industry veterans with values that are closely aligned with the companies that we acquire.

We look for well-run organizations with great people and a strong reputation for quality, integrity, and customer service.  As a result, it is important for us to retain the local team, along with the identity and legacy of the companies we acquire.

We partner with acquired companies by offering a variety of resources, tailored to each business, that include people development opportunities, growth capital for key initiatives, and support to leaders in helping them achieve their future goals.

The Armada Difference

“Armada has the right approach. They know the value of the local team and the importance of culture. I was impressed with the professionalism of the Armada team, and how they handled confidentiality during the sale process. They are good people and I know my business is in excellent hands.”
Todd Carson
Former Owner, Volunteer Materials
